When not at work at one of her three hospitals Dr. Beth enjoys spending quality time with her husband, David and her three children; James, Anastasia, and Griffin. They are all active members of Azalea City Church of Christ. Dr. Beth enjoys watching her alma maters Auburn and Kentucky during football and basketball season. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, trips to the beach with her family and playing with her dog Trixie.

Dr. Hunter always knew he was meant to work with animals. He grew up in a rural area of northern Alabama where his close interaction with local wildlife and being raised on a farm prompted his decision to pursue a baccalaureate degree in Animal Science (1992). He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a doctorate in Veterinarian Medicine from Auburn University (1999). When not at the clinic, Dr. Hunter enjoys fishing, playing basketball, watching SEC football, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. The majority of his free time is spent playing with his three adopted dogs Missy, Mooo, Raliegh, and two adopted cats Dirk and Maura.
Olivia Zirlott

Susan Pate
Groomer at Irby-Overton Veterinary Hospital
Susan has been grooming pets for over 27 years. She hand scissor and strips every pet with very fine attention to detail. She treats all of her groom pets with the same respect that she does her own pet. Her motto is: “Quality work not Quantity”. She shows her Shelties and Dobermans in her spare time and is very proud to say that her babies have placed top in the United States and in Canada.
